Barbara Bensley Riley

Mrs. Barbara Riley, 76, of Skidaway Island died Friday December 3 at Memorial University Medical Center.

Barbara was born October 7, 1934 in Oak Park, IL to Isabel and George Bensley. Barbara was an actress at Universal Studios, an antique appraiser, a co-owner of North Shore Appraisals, just to name a few of her careers. Through these tournaments she earned her bridge points to make life master.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Ivers Whitman Riley of Skidaway Island, GA; son, Michael Riley and wife Laurie Kelly of Narragansett, RI; son, Steven Riley and wife Amy of Canton, GA; daughter, Christine Simko and husband Mark of Piscataway, NJ; grandmother Mimi to Brett, Ford, Quinn, Megan and Marissa. Her aunt, Jean Cortland and cousin, Amy Alspaugh of Fullerton, CA and her daughter Melissa Alspaugh of London UK. She also leaves behind her much loved dogs, Polly, Snowy, and Max.

Barbara had so many friends around the world that loved her and will deeply miss her.
